Hello,
a bit about me:
My name is Alyson Chapa and I am currently interning at the Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County. We are a domestic violence shelter who advocate for women and their children who are fleeing their abuser. We offer legal, medical, residential, therapeutic and client services in our shelter and administration building. I graduated from Texas State University in August 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in applied sociology with a mior in social work. My overall goal and mission is to help those individuals who are victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. I am absolutely in love with the work I am doing right now at RCC and look forward to expanding my skills in the future.
